One of the most pressing challenges today is the rise of Shahed-style loitering drones, which can strike with precision while being difficult to intercept. By improving long-range tracking and classification, the IRIS radar delivers early warning to defenders, significantly reducing the risk of surprise attacks. This development highlights how CUAS solutions are shifting toward longer range and more sophisticated identification.
